A US Employer has to apply for the Green Card in respect to the Alien. This is a three (3)-step process for most applicants, which involves filing the PERM application with the Department of Labor (DOL), upon certification of the PERM application, the Employer files the Immigration Application and if the visa date is current, the alien employee can file the Adjustment of Status application simultaneously with the Immigration Visa application.
